Deadbolts. An interesting concept that is not very common in the U.K.
I know these are extremely popular in the U.S, the high security versions are most interesting to us, especially the Mul-T-Lock UK ‘Hercular’ version. I’ve never understood why this version hasn’t been brought into the U.K to be tested to British Standards & Sold Secure accreditation to replace our aging mortice lock designs.
Nevertheless, we was asked to fit a simple (non MTL) variant of the deadbolt design for a regular commercial customer. Happy to oblige we install this simple deadlock system with an internal thumbturn for them.
