Sadly this customer didn’t install extra security locks, or install latch shield protection to one of their vans (HalesLocks Ltd had already protected several other vans they own but they hadn’t had time to do this one yet, a mistake!) and once left unattended for a short period of time the door got drilled.
This destroyed the OEM lock inside the door and the thieves were able to gain access to steal tools.
To add extra cost we had to supply and install a brand new manufacturers OEM lock, plus high security hook locks and latch shields from Locks 4 Vans LTD to get this vehicle back on the road, at least it didn’t have downtime in a body shop.
