High security padlocks are recognised in strength by their CEN ratings. [CEN stands for Central European Norm, a way for manufactures to set high standards]
Sold Secure in the U.K are also well known for testing locks to their limits, with rating such as Bronze, Silver, Gold & the highest-grade Diamond, depending on the category of use.
We also offer LPCB (Loss Pervention Certification Board) approved padlocks for insurance purposes.
- Cen Grade 6 – Highest grade of security, for heavy commercial, construction/farming/rural machinery, military, critical infrastructure.
- Cen Grade 5 – Extra High Security like shipping containers, warehouses, industrial.
- Cen Grade 4 – High Security – motorcycles, mopeds, Light boats, internal security doors.
- Cen Grade 3 – Medium-high security – Bikes, lockups, basements, light machinery, metal perimeter gating and fencing
- Cen Grade 2 – Standard security – general doors/lockers, sheds, school storage
- Cen Grade 1 – Low security applications
High graded Padlocks can also be mastered to existing suites in doors so keys can work in different areas such as a main door and a padlock on a gate.
